Takashi Sano (“Taka”) has joined MUIP in 2021 as Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining MUIP, Taka was at Global Brain, an VC fund out of Japan. Taka set up Singapore office, and in charge of global FinTech investment, and managed Sony Financial Holdings’ Corporate Venture Capital fund. Taka also founded internal spin off startup till its M&A exit. Prior to joining Global Brain, Taka was at Sony, in charge of finance controller for technology investment and joint venturing, as well as business category owner.
